Sean Glennan is Chief Financial Officer of Hut 8, an energy infrastructure platform that integrates power, digital infrastructure, and compute at scale to fuel energy-intensive technologies. Hut 8 takes a power-first approach to developing and operating industrial-scale energy and data center infrastructure. 

Prior to joining Hut 8, Mr. Glennan was an investment banker, serving as a Managing Director in Citi’s Power, Utilities and Renewables Group. Over his 13 years at Citi, he advised on over $80 billion of M&A and capital markets transactions. Mr. Glennan began his career working for Asia International in Nanjing, China. After that, he performed management consulting work for bulge bracket investment banks in New York while at Orion Consultants. 

Mr. Glennan holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame.
