Sarah Salati
Sarah Orban Salati is the Chief Commercial Officer for Large Load Power Solutions at National Grid Ventures, the competitive arm of National Grid. Sarah joined NGV in 2023, managing commercial and strategic growth activities for its NY conventional and renewable generation portfolio, Rhode Island LNG facility and, most recently, led the national expansion of its Competitive Transmission business securing partnerships and project awards in new ISO markets. Sarah now leads NGV’s Large Load Power Solutions business unit serving data centers and other high electricity demand industries leveraging her and National Grid’s experience assembling commercial agreements and partnerships to reliably deliver complex energy infrastructure solutions globally. Sarah serves as the co-Executive Sponsor of the NewNet Employee Resource Group, the largest ERG at National Grid.
Previously, Sarah was the EVP and Chief Commercial Officer of the New York Power Authority (NYPA) overseeing over $2 billion in annual revenues from NYPA’s power generating assets, leading grid-scale transmission, customer-sited distributed energy resources, turnkey energy efficiency projects, and the build-out of EVolve – a statewide electric vehicle fast charging network. She was also the Executive Sponsor of the Women in Power Employee Resource Group.
From 2005 to 2018, Sarah held executive positions at the AES Corporation in strategic, commercial, operational, and product innovation roles, including expatriate positions in London, England, the regional HQ for operations in Europe, CIS, Africa, Middle East and Asia; and in Budapest, Hungary overseeing a portfolio of generation assets. Sarah holds a BA from Yale University and a MA from Johns Hopkins University.
