Santiago Suinaga, Senior Vice President, Cloud and Hyperscale at Stream Data 

Centers, is a seasoned data center professional and senior executive with 20+ years of 

industry experience across more than 10 countries. His background spans data center 

design, critical operations, M&A, sales, finance, and cost management in high-growth 

markets.


In his role at Stream Data Centers, Santiago is responsible for strengthening current 

client relationships to earn additional business, while developing new relationships with 

strategic accounts. He serves as a steward of Stream’s reputation as a highly reliable 

platform and trusted partner with a 25+ year track record of leasing data center capacity 

to Fortune 100 companies. Today, Stream—backed by strong investment partners—is 

positioned to develop and deliver large-scale, high-power AI, cloud, and compute 

deployments.


He most recently served as CEO of Infrastructure Masons and CEO of KIO Networks 

Data Centers, where he spent a 19-year career building the platform and executing a 

USD 1.2 billion exit transaction. Santiago has served as an Advisory Council member, is 

a founding member of the iMasons Climate Accord, and spearheaded the launch of the 

iMasons Power Accord.


Santiago holds a dual MBA from IPADE Business School and the Haas School of 

Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in 

Business Administration from the Iberoamerican University.


His industry certifications include Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) and 

Accredited Tier Specialist (ATS); CNet Certified Data Centre Design Professional 

(CDCDP) and Certified Data Centre Management Professional (CDCMP); as well as 

DCD Academy Data Center Design Awareness.


Santiago’s family is originally from Spain. He grew up in Mexico City and has lived in 

Texas for the past six years with his wife and two daughters. He loves music—he is a 

singer, plays the guitar and piano, and was formerly the frontman of a rock ’n’ roll band. 

Santiago also enjoys playing golf.
