Larry Watkins is Vice President of Origination – AI Infrastructure at Energy Vault, where he originates, negotiates, and closes utility-scale behind-the-meter (BTM) powered land, onsite power, and Energy Storage as a Service (ESaaS) projects for AI and hyperscale data centers. He brings more than 25 years of energy infrastructure experience spanning engineering, development, project finance, construction, and contracts, with the last eight years dedicated exclusively to BTM energy infrastructure. Throughout his career, Larry has led the development and execution of multi-billion-dollar energy and infrastructure transactions, helping customers deploy reliable, scalable power solutions for next-generation digital infrastructure. He holds a Master of Engineering and a Juris Doctor, providing a unique combination of technical, legal, and commercial expertise.
