John Chaplin is the Vice President of Commercial at Last Energy, where he oversees PPA origination, capital raising, and various commercial activities driving Last Energy's growth in the evolving energy sector.

Previously, Chaplin founded Olorin Capital, advising and investing in low-tech industries, and served as an advisor to Novi Labs, a machine learning startup for Oil & Gas operators and investors. He began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch, advising on over $30 billion in oil and gas transactions.

Chaplin holds a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
