Texas Senator Tan Parker

Senator Tan Parker is the Texas Senate Majority Leader and Chair of the Senate Committee on Transportation, where he leads on the infrastructure and mobility systems critical to Texas's continued growth.

A businessman and dedicated public servant, Senator Parker previously served eight terms in the Texas House before being elected to the Senate in 2022. Representing a North Texas district spanning Dallas, Denton, Tarrant, and Wise counties, he is focused on strengthening Texas's economy, security, and long-term competitiveness.

Senator Parker also co-chairs the Texas Artificial Intelligence Advisory Council and authored the legislation establishing Texas Cyber Command, reinforcing the state's leadership in cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection. He is a leading voice in advancing Texas as a premier destination for capital formation, including supporting the launch of the Texas Stock Exchange.
