Dave brings over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with deep expertise spanning sales, engineering, outside plant, operations, access management, and strategy. He currently serves as Vice President of Carrier Sales at Segra, where he leads the team in delivering network infrastructure solutions to the AI/Hyperscale, Carrier Wholesale Wireline, and Wireless sectors. Dave has been with Segra for more than 20 years, navigating its evolution through the acquisition of Clarity Communications by Lumos Networks in 2017, the merger of Lumos Networks and Spirit Communications in 2018, Segra’s acquisition by Cox Communications in 2021, and the merger with Unite Private Networks in 2023. A United States Air Force veteran, Dave began his telecom career in 1994 as a fiber route technician with Wiltel. He went on to hold operations and sales leadership roles during the CLEC boom at tw telecom, Clarity Communications, Lumos Networks, and now Segra. His extensive experience across operations, sales, and general management—within both start-ups and large enterprises—gives him a unique perspective on the industry’s evolving challenges and opportunities. Outside of work, Dave enjoys fitness activities and traveling with his wife of 37 years, Dawn. Together, they cherish spending time with their three children and six grandchildren.
