As Senior Vice President of Global Network Engineering, Robert Ward leads Lumen’s architecture, design, and certification of backbone technologies across Optical, Ethernet, IP, and Security in support of Lumen’s Connectivity Fabric portfolio. Rob has played pivotal roles in the evolution of Lumen’s network, developing one of the world’s largest Internet backbones, launching innovative Network-as-a-Service capabilities, and scaling an industry leading fiber and optical network.
