As Executive Vice President of Strategy at Available Infrastructure, Daniel Medina helps shape the company’s long-term growth strategy across zero-trust cyber protection, AI at the edge, and a rapidly expanding network of quantum-ready micro edge data centers designed to support mission-critical environments.

Medina has extensive experience spanning national security, enterprise technology and strategic advisory roles across government and industry. Previously, he served as CIO and Chief Information Security Officer for a defense industrial base company, leading enterprise technology modernization and cybersecurity governance.

Medina also held senior advisory roles guiding Fortune 500 organizations through cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and technology transformation. He served as Chief of Staff and Senior Cybersecurity Strategist at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (NPPD/CS&C), where he supported national cybersecurity and communications operations. He is a U.S. Army veteran.

Medina holds a BS in IT, MBA, a Harvard Kennedy School Senior Executive Fellowship, and completed the Carnegie Mellon Chief Information Security Officers Executive course.
