Carrie Charles is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Broadstaff, a national staffing firm specializing in digital infrastructure and telecom. Under her leadership, Broadstaff has become one of the industry’s fastest-growing companies, earning recognition on Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list for five consecutive years and its Inc. Regionals – Southeast rankings in 2022, 2023 and 2024. The company has also been featured on the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Fast 50 multiple times and was named one of the 50 Fastest-Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies by the Women Presidents Organization in 2023. Beyond Broadstaff, Carrie Charles is a respected industry and executive leader. She served six years on the board of the Women’s Wireless Leadership Forum (WWLF), supporting the advancement of women in the wireless industry, and is a longtime member of the CEO Council of Tampa Bay, where she previously served on the board. She continues to drive workforce innovation, talent development and business growth across the digital infrastructure sector.
Her commitment to childhood cancer research is deeply personal as the mother of a childhood cancer survivor. She serves on the board of the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, which funds research for less toxic, more effective treatments through its Sunshine Project. In 2024, she was part of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Tampa executive leadership committee and is a member of the American Cancer Society’s CEOs Against Cancer Florida chapter.
