Caroline St. Clair
Caroline St. Clair leads Aon’s Data Center Practice in North America, working with developers, operators and investors across the full lifecycle of digital infrastructure assets. Her experience spans early-stage development, capital deployment, risk advisory and operational resilience, giving her a practical perspective on the factors that influence growth, financing and long-term performance in an increasingly complex market.
Since joining Aon in 2011, Caroline has built her career alongside the rapid evolution of the data center industry. She has advised wholesale and hyperscale-focused developers, digital infrastructure platforms and institutional investors, helping structure risk and insurance solutions that support capital formation, satisfy lender requirements and enhance asset resilience. Her work provides a front-row view of how underwriting, investor confidence and access to capital are increasingly shaped by decisions made long before a facility becomes operational.
At Data Center Investment: Who Gets Funded When Power, Debt and AI Demand Collide?, Caroline brings a practitioner's perspective on the realities behind investment decisions. Drawing on her experience supporting some of the industry's most sophisticated risk portfolios, she will explore how developers and investors can better align risk, capital and execution to attract funding, support growth and create durable value in a market defined by power constraints, rising capital requirements and accelerating AI demand.
