Cameron McCaskill is a serial entrepreneur and revenue leader who’s spent the last 30 

years turning early products into real, repeatable growth—by building outstanding teams 

and running multi-pronged go-to-market playbooks.

He’s logged more than two decades in semiconductors, and recently has been deep in

AI inference hardware for data centers. In 2024, Cameron joined Positron AI to lead 

sales and business development for the company’s purpose-built GenAI inference 

systems, which deliver 3-5X perf/$ and perf/watt benefits over GPU-based alternatives. 

Since he joined, Positron has sold nearly 60 racks of its first-gen “Altas” servers and 

raised more than $300M in venture financing.

Over his career, Cameron has helped scale seven entrepreneurial companies, enjoying 

an IPO, four mergers, and plenty of venture and angel rounds. He earned an 

engineering degree and an MBA from the University of Florida. When he’s off the clock, 

you’ll usually find him chasing great music, big fish, long bike rides, a pickleball game, 

or personal best wildlife photos
