Alanna Fishman is a Partner in the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting, where she leads social license to operate and sustainability advisory work across North America.

Ms. Fishman advises data center companies on how to anticipate and address emerging sustainability and stakeholder risks before they become permitting, reputational or operational barriers. Her work spans issues including water and energy use, environmental impacts, community expectations, sustainability commitments, stakeholder engagement and the broader narratives that shape a company’s social license to operate.

She works with companies to look beyond the immediate challenge of securing community support for a single project and instead build strategies that support long-term growth across markets. This includes identifying emerging risks, aligning operational commitments with stakeholder expectations, strengthening sustainability positioning and helping companies demonstrate tangible value to the communities in which they operate.

Ms. Fishman brings experience advising companies across energy, infrastructure, industrials, technology and other sectors where sustainability, community acceptance and business growth are closely connected. Her work is grounded in helping companies think around the corner, anticipate the issues that may affect their next project or phase of growth, and build more durable strategies for operating successfully over the long term.
