Aamer Abbasi is the CTO of Lyte Fiber, a Texas-based ISP built from the ground up in partnership with a private equity firm, SDC Capital Partners. He has architected the company's network, technology stack, and Engineering organization from day one, and led the strategy that secured over $250 million in federal and state broadband funding through the BEAD program. Aamer's team has evaluated more than 2.5 million homes and businesses for fiber expansion, resulting in 20 markets under construction in Texas. He brings a builder's perspective to conversations on scaling fiber networks, from network architecture and capital strategy to the operational realities of deploying at very high “volume and velocity”.
