Light Water Sustainability Program (LWRS)

The Light Water Reactor Sustainability (LWRS) Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), in close collaboration with industry, provides the technical foundation for the long-term operation, modernization, and scaling of the nation’s nuclear power fleet. This work directly supports DOE’s Utility Power Reactor Incremental Scaling Effort (UPRISE) objectives.
